:iconazieser:and I :iconthespiritcarrieson: are proud to announce our first joint photo contest. The Portraits of fall and winter contest. This is a contest to honor all the beautiful areas of our planet and all of the great portrait artists here on DA. Submissions will be accepted from now until the 30th of November. Judging will be conducted during the period of December 1st through the 4th.

:iconazieser:and I :iconthespiritcarrieson: will narrow it down to four entries and these four finalists will be placed up for a public vote based solely on the appeal of the image to your fellow deviants.

We are currently accepting prizes from any who are interested. You can give anything you like, features, interviews with the winners, news articles, and subs, they are all welcomed for this contest.

DA is about sharing and helping your fellow artists so stop on by and lend your support for your fellow deviant today! Please send me a note titled Portrait contest support with your donations for this lovely contest.


All entries should be submitted to :iconazieser: by the November 30th Deadline. To submit your entry, simply send him a note and place the thumbs code into the note so that he can link it to our contest journal. Please title all notes for the contest Portrait "contest submission" so that he will not miss it.

Rules:
all entries must be portrait photographs in either winter or fall scenes. Manipulations will be accepted but the photographs used in the manipulations must be your own work and not from any other deviant, nor downloaded from any image site. This is a fun and friendly contest so be sure to have fun doing the works for the contest! As always if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Hello :wave:

So this are my last 4 days of subscription.

I still have a week of vacations, my calsses start at september 21st and I'm looking foward to see all my friends and start with new school projects! :D

until then I have some projects to develop and some rest of vacations to enjoy!

I finnaly decided my branch for next year, I choosed Graphic, yes graphic design... but just today I was watching a little of television and just saw a motion graphic spot and a little feeling of regret came...

oh!!! I reached out the 15,000 views!!!! :wow:

is this a dream?! :o

I never ever thought I would reach that number! :wow:

summer full of concerts!-devmeet-green feature

Hi!! :wave:

so how are you guys?!

sorry for my absence around here but I went to some festivals! :D

I think that this summer I just went to more concerts that I ever went in my hole life :giggle:

So After seeing the walkmen, Brandi Carlile, Mando Diao, Duffy and the amazing The killers I went to a free festival and heard 2 portuguese bands Klepht and Rita Redshoes and I also heard James Morrison :D

then I went to a 5 days festival called Sudoeste and saw so many amazing bands! and some I heard for the very first time, mostly dj's so there were bands and djs like David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Anthony B, Madcon, Jet, Faith no more, Kymani Marley, Mad Caddies, Amy Macdonald, Basement Jaxx and so many others! :D

Then I went to a 2 days festival and saw Gentleman, Nitin Sawhney, Souls of fire, Ziggy Marley and Nouvelle Vague

and finnally today I just went to a Terrakota concert! :P

So... ALOT of music this summer! :D


The portuguese deviantmeet! (this part will be in portuguese! :P)

Foi me pedido para divulgar um deviantmeet que esta a ser organizado ainda nao descobri por quem ao certo mas sei que a ~pictureholic e a ~catarinamzfernandes estao a divulgar, o pedido veio mesmo da parte da Catarina :P

hi! how are you all?

my vacations are great... and the last few days were insane! :giggle:

yesterday just went to a festival called Super Bock Super Rock and saw The Killers for the first time in portugal! they were GREAT!!

I also saw Brandi Carlile, Mano Diao and Duffy... I don't really like Duffy at all... it was a little bit a torture for me to listen to her concert but well :P

I had a great time with a great group of friends...

So, I made a poll some days ago asking what colour should be my next theme feature... and I had A TIE!! yes ^^; so I'm going to feature black pics and my next feature will be with blue pics, and when I say blue and black it's not that the pics have to be all black or all blue... but they have to be 60% or something black or blue :P

So now I'm asking, if you have or know any pic that's it's mainly blue and want to see it featured in my next journal please comment with the link or the thumb and I will feature it! and it's a great help for me!! :D it don't have to be yours... can be from somebody else and I will note that person that was featured on my journal :D
