The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

so how are you guys?!

sorry for my absence around here but I went to some festivals! :D

I think that this summer I just went to more concerts that I ever went in my hole life :giggle:

So After seeing the walkmen, Brandi Carlile, Mando Diao, Duffy and the amazing The killers I went to a free festival and heard 2 portuguese bands Klepht and Rita Redshoes and I also heard James Morrison :D

then I went to a 5 days festival called Sudoeste and saw so many amazing bands! and some I heard for the very first time, mostly dj's so there were bands and djs like David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Anthony B, Madcon, Jet, Faith no more, Kymani Marley, Mad Caddies, Amy Macdonald, Basement Jaxx and so many others! :D

Then I went to a 2 days festival and saw Gentleman, Nitin Sawhney, Souls of fire, Ziggy Marley and Nouvelle Vague

and finnally today I just went to a Terrakota concert! :P

So... ALOT of music this summer! :D
